Shura Council Speaker Meets IPU President

HE Speaker of the Shura Council Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Zaid Al Mahmoud meet on Sunday with HE President of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) Gabriela Cuevas Barron, on the sidelines of the 130th IPU anniversary.
During the meeting they reviewed the bilateral relations between the Shura Council and IPU and the ways to boost and develop them. They also discussed a number of issues of common concern.
The meeting was attended by a number of Shura Council members and HE Permanent Representative of Qatar to the UN in Geneva Ambassador Ali Khalfan Al Mansouri.
