Speaker of Shura Council Meets Delegation of League of Parliamentarians for Al-Quds

HE Speaker of the Shura Council Hassan bin Abdullah Al Ghanim met Sunday with a delegation of members of the League of Parliamentarians for Al-Quds, headed by HE President of the League Hamid ben Abdullah Al Ahmar, who is currently visiting the country.
At the outset of the meeting, the delegation of the league expressed appreciation for the efforts made by the State of Qatar in accordance with the wise directives of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, in support for the Palestinian cause and the solidarity with the brotherly Palestinian people at all levels.
During the meeting, they also reviewed a number of topics related to the enhancement and coordination between the Shura Council and the League of Parliamentarian for Al-Quds in a way that serves the Palestinian cause. They also discussed ways to strengthen parliamentarian cooperation and coordinate positions in various regional and international parliamentary forums in order to support the Palestinian cause.
