Shura Council Partakes in Regional Human Rights Conference

The Shura Council is participating in the 3rd Arab Regional Conference on the Protection and Promotion of Human Rights, which began Sunday at the headquarters of the League of Arab States, under the title "The Impact of Occupation and Armed Conflicts on Human Rights".
HE Shura Council Member and Member of the Arab Parliament, Yousuf bin Rashid Al Khater, represents the Shura Council at this conference.
The conference will discuss a number of issues and mechanisms that guarantee the protection of human rights during conflicts, especially the rights of women and children, the impact of the occupation on their lives, ways to mitigate the effects of conflicts and wars on communities and vulnerable groups, and enabling and encourage victims to access justice in addition to other related issues.
