The Deputy Speaker of the Shura Council meets with the Special Rapporteur on Contemporary Forms of Racism and Racial Discrimination

His Excellency Mr. Mohammed bin Abdulla Al-Sulaiti, Deputy Speaker of the Shura Council, met today with Ms. E. Tindayi Ashomi - Special Rapporteur on contemporary forms of racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance and the accompanying delegation.
The meeting reviewed Qatar’s efforts to uphold workers' rights and its keenness to provide various forms of economic, social and health care and legal protection of labors’ rights and wages.
The meeting was attended by H.E. Fahd bin Mubarak al-Khayareen, Secretary General of the Shura Council.
