The Deputy Speaker of the Shura Council Discusses Council's Role in Legislation and Laws' Passage with Chinese Delegation

H. E. Mr. Mohamed Bin Abdulla Al-Sulaiti, the Deputy Speaker of the Shura Council met today a delegation from the Chinese city of Chengdu municipal government, which is currently visiting Qatar.
The meeting reviewed the Qatari-Chinese relations, the future prospects and the role of the Shura Council in legislation and enactment of laws, specially those pertaining to promoting internal and external investments.
The Chinese delegation, praised the achievements and the great developmental renaissance made by the State Qatar, which they have witnessed in the major projects and the opportunities and guarantees for investment which are provided therein.
The meeting was attended by His Excellency Mr. Fahad Bin Mubarak Al-Khayareen, the Secretary General of the Shura Council and a number of officials in the Council.
