The Shura Council State of Qatar

HE Speaker of the Shura Council Hassan bin Abdullah Al Ghanim met today in Algiers with HE Speaker of the Algerian People's National Assembly Brahim Boughali, on the sidelines of participation in the 36th conference of the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union scheduled to kick off tomorrow.
The meeting reviewed ways to enhance parliamentary cooperation between the two brotherly countries, in addition to discussing a number of topics related to parliamentary efforts to enhance joint Arab action. It also addressed the Palestinian issue, where they stressed the necessity of supporting the Palestinian people in their struggle to obtain their legitimate rights.
HE Speaker of the Shura Council Hassan bin Abdullah Al Ghanim also met with HE Acting Speaker of the House of Representatives of Iraq Mohsen Al Mandalawi and HE First Deputy Speaker of the UAE Federal National Council Dr. Tariq Humaid Al Tayer.
The two meetings reviewed parliamentary cooperation relations as well as a number of topics on the agenda of the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union conference.
Meanwhile, HE Speaker of the Shura Council Hassan bin Abdullah Al Ghanim participated today in the consultative meeting of the heads of parliaments and councils and the heads of delegations participating in the 36th conference of Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union in preparation for the conference.
