Deputy Speaker of the Shura Council holds a number of meetings on the sidelines of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly meetings in Baku.

Her Excellency Dr. Hamda bint Hassan Al-Sulaiti, Deputy Speaker of the Shura Council and head of the Council’s delegation participating in the work of the 14th plenary session of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly (APA), which was held in the Azerbaijani capital, Baku, and concludes its work today, held a number of meetings with a number of parliamentarians on the sidelines of the work of the APA.
Her Excellency met with Her Excellency Mrs. Sahiba Gfarova, Speaker of the National Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan (Milli Majlis), His Excellency Mr. Muhammad Toir Zukirzoda, Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Mr. Ali Ahmad Faisal, Vice-President of the Palestinian National Council, and His Excellency Mr. Jalil Rahimi Jahanabadi, Member of the Iranian Shura Council, individually.
During the meetings, parliamentary cooperation relations and ways to enhance them were reviewed, as well as a number of topics on the APA's agenda, and views were exchanged on them.
The meeting was attended by His Excellency Eng. Ahmed bin Hitmi Al Hitmi and His Excellency Mr. Saud bin Jassim Al Buainain, members of the Council, members of the Council delegation participating in the work of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly.
