The Shura Council State of Qatar

The Economic and the Financial Affairs Committee of the Shura Council held a meeting today, headed by H.E. Mr. Mohammed bin Yousef Al Mana, Chairman of the Committee.

During the meeting, the committee hosted Mr. Abdul Rahman Fouad Al Madahka, Assistant Undersecretary for Public Treasury Affairs, Mr. Abdul Rahman Muhammad Jolo, Assistant Undersecretary for Financial Policy Affairs, and Mr. Salman Muhammad Al Mahmoud, Director of the General Budget Department at the Ministry of Finance.

 During the meeting, the committee discussed the draft general budget of the state for the fiscal year 2024, and a draft law approving the general budget of the state, where officials of the Ministry of Finance responded to the inquiries and observations raised by the members of the committee related to the sections and sectors of the draft general budget, and the committee decided to complete its study of the draft general budget of the state for the fiscal year 2024, and a draft law to adopt it, at its next meeting.
