Chairman of the Shura Internal and External Affairs Committee meets with the U.S. Congress delegation

His Excellency Mr. Yousef bin Ali Al Khater, Member of the Shura Council and Chairman of the Council’s Internal and External Affairs Committee, met yesterday with a delegation of members of Congress in the United States of America, on the occasion of his visit to the country.
During the meeting, a number of topics related to strengthening parliamentary cooperation relations between the two sides were reviewed, and a number of topics were also discussed within the framework of common interest for both sides.
The meeting was attended by His Excellency Mr. Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al-Maliki, member of the Shura Council, member of the Council’s Internal and External Affairs Committee, and His Excellency Mr. Abdullah bin Nasser Al-Subaie, member of the Shura Council, member of the Qatari Friendship Group with the United States of America in the Council.
The meeting was also attended by His Excellency Sheikh Meshal bin Hamad Al Thani, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the United States of America.
