Speaker of Shura Council Meets UN Secretary-General

HE Speaker of the Shura Council Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Zaid Al Mahmoud met here today with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, on the sidelines of the two-day parliamentary hearing which began at United Nations Headquarters today.
During the meeting, they discussed means of enhancing joint cooperation in addition to a number of issues of mutual interest.
It was attended by HE Permanent Representative of the State of Qatar to the United Nations Ambassador Sheikha Alya Ahmed bin Saif Al-Thani, and a number of members of the Shura Council.
