Agreement on Qatar's Organization of 140th IPU Assembly, 204th Governing Council Signed .

An agreement was signed today between the Shura Council and the Inter-Parliamentary Union IPU to organize and hold the 140th, Meetings of the General Assembly of the IPU and the 204th, Session of the Governing Council of the IPU, in Doha, by the State of Qatar, during the period of April 6th, to 10th, 2019.
The agreement was signed by H. E. Mr. Ahmed Bin Abdulla Bin Zaid Al- Al- Mahmoud, the Speaker of the Shura Council and by H. E. Mr. Martin Chungong, the Secretary General of the IPU.
This signing of this agreement comes in the light of the IPU resolution at its last Session held in Geneva, during last October on holding its next Meetings in Doha.
