Speaker of Shura Council Holds Meetings on Sidelines of 141st IPU General Assembly

HE Speaker of the Shura Council Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Zaid Al Mahmoud met on Wednesday with Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia and president of 141st General Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) Maja Gojkovic, on the sidelines of his participation in the General Assembly.
During the meeting, they reviewed the existing parliamentary relations between the two countries and discussed topics on the agenda of the General Assembly.
The meeting was attended by a number of members of the Shura Council and HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Serbia Sheikh Mubarak bin Fahad Al-Thani.
HE Speaker of the Shura Council also met separately with HE Speaker of Parliament of Uganda, Rebecca Kadaga, HE Speaker of House of Representatives of the Republic of Djibouti Mohamed Ali Houmed, HE Speaker of the Parliament of the Republic of Ghana Aaron Oquaye, on the sidelines of his participation in the 141st General Assembly of the IPU, and the accompanying meetings.
During the meetings, they reviewed the existing parliamentary relations between Qatar and sthese countries and discussed the topics on the agenda of the General Assembly.
The meetings were attended by a number of members of the Shura Council.
