Speaker of the Shura Council meets the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Qatar Cancer

His Excellency Mr. Hassan bin Abdullah Al Ghanim, Speaker of the Shura Council, met today with His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Khalid bin Jabr Al Thani, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Qatar Cancer Society.
During the meeting, held at the Council Building, the activities and events of the Association and its role in raising awareness among members of the community and supporting and supporting cancer patients were discussed. The Shura Council's role in supporting and promoting those efforts was also reviewed.
In this context, His Excellency the Speaker of the Shura Council commended the role of the Humanitarian Association and its efforts in raising awareness of cancer and ways of preventing and detecting it early, in line with the goals of the Qatar National Vision 2030.
The meeting was attended by the Chairpersons of the Standing Committees of the Shura Council and the Secretary-General of the Council.
It was also attended by the Qatar Cancer Society, Mr. Mohammed Juma Al-Kuwari, member of the Board of Directors.
