Qatari-Asian Parliamentary Friendship Group Meets Director of Standing Committee of Shanghai Municipal People's Congress

The Qatari-Asian Parliamentary Friendship Group of the Shura Council, under its Chairman H.E. Mr. Rashid Bin Hamad Al-Ma'adadi, held a meeting today with H.E. Yin Yi Tsui, Director of the Standing Committee of the People's Congress of Shanghai City, and the accompanying delegation.
The meeting reviewed the relations between the two friendly countries, particularly in the parliamentary field between the Shura Council and the Chinese People's Congress. Members of the Chinese parliamentary delegation praised the economic, cultural, sports and legislative renaissance taking place in the Qatar under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani, the emir of the Qatar, and the great development the Qatari--Chinese relations are witnessing.
The meeting was attended by H.E. Nasser Bin Sultan al-Hamidi, His Excellency Mr. Ibrahim Bin Khalifa al-Nasr, members of the Group and a number of officials of the Shura Council.
