The Shura Council State of Qatar

The Parliamentary Friendship Group between the State of Qatar and the People's Republic of China in the Shura Council, headed by His Excellency Eng. Ahmed bin Hitmi Al Hitmi, Member of the Council and Chairman of the Friendship Group, met today with His Excellency Mr. Jiao Zhixin, Director of the West Asia and North Africa Department of the Department of Foreign Relations of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, who is currently visiting the country.

During the meeting, a number of issues related to strengthening parliamentary cooperation relations between the two sides were reviewed.

The meeting was attended by His Excellency Mr. Saad bin Ahmed Al-Muhannadi and His Excellency Mr. Saud bin Jassim Al-Buainain, members of the Council and members of the Friendship Group. It was also attended by the delegation accompanying the Chinese official.
