Today, the Planning and Quality Department of the General Secretariat of the Shura Council, in cooperation with the State Audit Bureau, organized a workshop, within the project of developmening risk management, with the aim of keeping pace with the Qatar National Vision 2030 and the objectives of the third National Development Strategy 2024-2030.
The workshop, which was attended by a number of departmental directors and secretariat staff of the Council, was presented by H.E. Sheikh Sultan bin Nayef Al-Thani, Director of Risk and Quality Management of the State Audit Bureau.
The workshop is organized as part of the efforts of the General Secretariat of the Shura Council to prepare a "risk register", which aims to identify and classify the institutional risks that may confront the work of the Secretariat and provide adequate flexibility to address them.
The Audit Office has launched a risk management development project to identify risks faced by state institutions and develop proactive plans to reduce them, thereby rationalizing risk-based decision-making processes.
