The Qatari-German Parliamentary Friendship Group in the Shura Council meets with members of the German Parliament

His Excellency Mr. Badi bin Ali Al Badi and His Excellency Mr. Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al-Malki, members of the Shura Council and members of the Qatari-German Parliamentary Friendship Group in the Council, met today with His Excellency Mr. Alexander Radwan and His Excellency Mr. Thomas Ruvekamp, members of the German Federal Parliament “The Bundestag”, who are currently visiting the country to attend the Doha Forum.
His Excellency Member Badi bin Ali Al Badi also met with His Excellency Mr. Oliver Granmann, Member of the German Federal Parliament, in the presence of His Excellency Dr. Ahmed bin Hamad Al-Muhannadi, Member of the Council.
During the two meetings, the existing cooperation relations between the Shura Council and the German Federal Parliament were reviewed, and ways to strengthen and develop them. The activation of the Qatari-German Friendship Group in the German Parliament was also discussed, in addition to emphasizing the necessity of exchanging visits between the two sides.
Members of the German Parliament also praised the efforts of the State of Qatar in supporting and assisting the Palestinian people, and its important role in bringing humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip.
