The Shura Council State of Qatar

The Services and the Public Utilities Committee of the Shura Council held a meeting today, headed by His Excellency Mr. Abdulrahman bin Youssef Al-Khulaifi, Chairman of the Committee.

During the meeting, the committee continued its discussions of a draft law regulating district cooling services, a draft law regarding the protection of public electrical and water facilities, and a draft law amending some provisions of Law No. (1) of 2012 regulating and monitoring the placement of advertisements, in the presence of representatives of the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers and the Public Institution, Qatar Electricity and Water Company “Kahramaa”, the Ministry of Municipality, and the Ministry of Culture, where they responded to the inquiries and observations raised by the members of the committee related to the aforementioned topics.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the committee decided to complete its study of these topics at its next meeting.
