Shura Council Participates in Parliamentary Meeting on Parliamentary Indicators

The Shura Council participated today in the parliamentary meeting to launch the Initial Indicators for the Democratic Parliaments, which was organized by the Inter-Parliamentary Union and a wide range of partner organizations, via video conference technology.
HE member of the Council Yousef bin Ahmed Al-Kuwari, represented the Shura Council in this meeting.
The indicators are based on the goals and objectives of the sustainable development by supporting and diagnosing parliamentary work, addressing the weaknesses facing the work of parliaments, via measuring parliamentary performance in implementing the sustainable development goals to help develop the performance and establish robust and effective parliamentary institutions.
