His Excellency the Deputy Speaker of the Council meets the Chairman of the eastwest European Institute and his entourage

H. E. Mr. Mohamed Bin Abdulla Al-Sulaiti, the Deputy Speaker of the Shura Council met today with Mr. Giuseppe Scognamiglio, the Chairman of the eastwest European Institute and the accompanying Italian Students delegation currently visiting the country.
The Deputy Speaker has during the meeting explained to the delegation the positions of the State of Qatar on internal and external policies and the legislative and regulatory role played by the Shura Council.
The delegation commended the efforts of the State of Qatar in supporting European -Arabic relations for peace and stability in the region and the world. The delegation also praised the developmental renaissance the State of Qatar is witnessing in various fields.
The meeting was attended by Mr. Nasser Bin Ali Al-Khater, Assistant Secretary General of the Shura Council and a number of officials in the Council.
