Shura Council Participates in Arab Parliament Meeting in Cairo

The Shura Council participates in the twenty-ninth session of the Executive Committee of the Arab Parliamentary Union and the meetings of its special committees held in Cairo, the sisterly Arab Republic of Egypt, and will continue until next Saturday.
The Council is represented at the meeting by H.E. Dr. Sultan bin Hassan Al Dosari, Member of the Shura Council, Member of the Executive Committee of the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union.
The meeting examines a number of issues relating to Arab parliamentary work and ways of developing it, including proposals to amend the Union's Charter and rules of procedure.
The meeting also discusses a number of pilot projects on environmental laws, intellectual property and cybercrime, while the participants review a number of reports on the work of the Federation, as well as the review of the Union's strategy in the coming period.
