Speaker of Shura Council Holds Series of Meetings on Sideline of 29th Arab Parliamentary Union Conference

HE the Speaker of the Shura Council Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Zaid al-Mahmoud met here separately today with HE Speaker of the Shura Council of the Sultanate of Oman Sheikh Khalid bin Hilal al-Maawali,, HE Speaker of the Parliament of the Lebanese Republic Nabih Berri, and HE Speaker of the Council of Representatives of the Republic of Iraq Mohamed al-Halbousi, on the sidelines of the 29th Conference of the Arab Parliamentary Union, held in Amman under the slogan "Jerusalem, the eternal capital of the State of Palestine".
Discussions during the meetings dealt with parliamentary relations of common interest and ways of strengthening them.
The meeting was attended by a number of members of the Shura Council.
