The Shura Council Congratulates the Former Member of the Council, Aisha Al-Mannai, For Awarding Her the "Parliamentary Excellence Award"

The Shura Council congratulated the former Member of the Shura Council and the Arab Parliament, H.E. Dr. Aisha bint Yousef Al-Mannai on awarding her Parliamentary Excellence Award (Parliamentary Member) from the Arab Parliamentary Union on the margins of the thirty-fourth session of the Union Conference held in Iraq last February.
In this context, His Excellency Mr. Hassan bin Abdullah Al-Ghanim, Speaker of the Shura Council, on his behalf and on behalf of Their Excellencies the members of the Council, extended his sincere congratulations to Dr. Aisha Al-Mannai for receiving this award granted by the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union as a tribute to the distinguished in the parliamentary field, including the current and former speakers of Arab parliaments and members of Parliament, and general secretaries and researchers, with the aim of enhancing the spirit of competition between Arab parliaments to develop their parliamentary practices.
His Excellency the Speaker of the Council said during the ceremony held today after the end of the weekly session and attended by Their Excellencies the members of the Council, "There is no doubt that this honour due to H.E. Dr. Aisha Al-Mannai was the result of her tireless and tangible efforts in promoting parliamentary work, and we appreciate those efforts that contributed to highlighting the role of the Shura Council in this aspect."
