Shura Council to Participate in Meeting of Standing Committee of Asian Parliamentary Assembly on Budget and Planning

The Shura Council will participate in the meeting of Standing Committee of Asian Parliamentary Assembly (APA) on Budget and Planning due to be held on September 3-5, 2019, in Baghdad.
The delegation of the Shura Council is headed by Member of the Council Ibrahim bin Khalifa Al Nasr.
The meeting will discuss enhancing the efficiency and organizational capacity of the APA to achieve its goals and objectives set forth in its charter. This is done to emphasize the importance of the participation of all Member Parliaments in sharing the financial needs of the Assembly and to ensure the principles of transparency, accountability and effective management of resources with regard to expenditure and budgeting the Assembly
