He holds a high qualification in the field of tourism and hotels. He attended many special training courses in the fields of hotel management and financial business.
He was appointed Deputy General Manager of the Marriott Hotel and Director of Doha Club, then CEO of Human Resources and Administration at Qatar Hotels Company, and then CEO of Katara Hospitality.
He is the Vice-Chairman of the Education, Culture, Sport and Information Committee of the Shura Council & the Chairman of the External Affairs, Political and National Security Committee of the Arab Parliament. and a member of the Qatari Parliamentary Friendship Group with the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand in the Council. He had actively participated in many internal and external missions.
