He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and Aerospace Science and an Executive MBA. He worked for the Doha International Airport Company and then the General Civil Aviation Authority. He was appointed as a member of the Internal and External Affairs Committee and a member of the Qatari Parliamentary Friendship Group with the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand in the Council.
