He holds a master's degree in public administration from the American University.
He worked in the Ministry of Education, and then moved to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He was promoted to senior positions until he was appointed ambassador of the State of Qatar to the United Kingdom.
He was appointed a member of the Financial and Economic Affairs Committee, a member of the Internal and External Affairs Committee, and Chair of the Qatari Parliamentary Friendship Group with the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand in the Council. He had actively participated in many internal and external missions related to diplomatic field.
