He holds a Bachelor of Laws degree. He joined the military corps of the Ministry of Interior, and promoted to many leadership positions, as he was appointed head of the Al Sheehaniya, Post and Al -Rayyan Passports Department. He was the appointed assistant to the director of the Unified Services Department at the Ministry of Interior. He was then appointed Director of the Research and Follow-up Department in the rank of Brigadier General.
He was appointed a member of the Internal and External Affairs Committee and a member of the Qatari-European Parliamentary Friendship Group in the Council.
