He holds a Bachelor's degree in Management and Political Science, Michigan, 1985, and a Master's in Administrative Leadership and Societies, Michigan, 1987.
He worked in the Ministry of Labor, Social Affairs and Housing, Where he served as Head of Labour (1991-1993), and then in the Ministry of Economy; where he held the position of Assistant Director of the Department of International Cooperation, Trade and Investment Agreements (2012-2015), and Director of the Department of Consumer Cooperation at the Ministry.
He was appointed as a member of the Board of Directors of Al-Meera Holding Company and was a member of the company's incorporation Committee.
He is a member of the Qatari-European Parliamentary Friendship Group in the Council.
