The Shura Council State of Qatar

The Economic and the Financial Affairs Committee of the Shura Council held a meeting today, chaired by H.E. Mr. Mohammed bin Youssef Al-Mana, the Committee Chairman. 
At the beginning of the meeting, the Committee elected, by acclamation, H.E. member Isa bin Ahmed Al-Nasr as Deputy Chairman of the Committee, in accordance with the new internal regulations of the Shura Council.
During the meeting, the Committee discussed the draft state budget for the fiscal year 2025 and the draft law for the approval of the state budget. The Committee decided to continue its study of both in its next meeting.
The Committee also reviewed Decree-Law No. (1) of 2024 amending certain provisions of Decree-Law No. (10) of 1974 concerning Qatar Energy and decided to submit its report on it to the Council.
Additionally, the Committee continued its discussions on the general discussion request regarding support for national and foreign investment and decided to continue its study of the matter in its next meeting.
