Chairman of Internal and External Affairs Committee at Shura Council Meets European Parliament Delegation

HE Chairman of the Internal and External Affairs Committee at the Shura Council Yousef bin Ali Al Khater met Wednesday with a delegation of the Middle East and Gulf Working Party at the European Council, chaired by HE Chair of the Working Party Anders Ostervang, who is visiting the country.
The meeting discussed ways to enhance cooperation and understanding between the Shura Council and the European Council. The meeting also viewed the parliamentarian mechanisms on both sides.
The meeting also discussed plans to enhance the role of women in parliamentary work, in addition to the role of parliamentary committees in supporting oversight and legislative work.
