The Shura Council State of Qatar

The Health, Public Services and Environment Affairs Committee of the Shura Council held a meeting today, chaired by His Excellency Mr. Mubarak bin Mohammed Al Kuwari, Chairman of the Committee.
During the meeting, the Committee discussed the request for a general discussion submitted by a number of their Excellences the members, on "Agricultural Support Mechanisms Provided to Local Farms and the Extent of Their Contribution to Enhancing Food Security", in the presence of a number of farm owners, where the Committee listened to their opinions and suggestions regarding the challenges facing the production process on farms and ways to overcome them and remove the obstacles facing the agricultural sector.
At the end of the meeting, the Committee decided to complete its study of the discussion request in an upcoming meeting.
