The Shura Council State of Qatar

His Excellency Mr. Youssef bin Ali Al-Khater, Chair of the Internal and External Affairs Committee of the Shura Council, met today with a delegation from the British Group of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, led by His Excellency Mr. Dan Carden, Member of the British Parliament, who is currently visiting the country.
During the meeting, they discussed various topics related to parliamentary coordination and explored ways to strengthen cooperation between the two sides.
Additionally, His Excellency Mr. Youssef bin Ali Al-Khater met with His Excellency Mr. Ashraf Khodjayev, Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Qatar.
The meeting focused on reviewing the existing bilateral parliamentary relations between Qatar and Uzbekistan and identifying ways to enhance them. Several members of the Shura Council attended both meetings.
President of the Inter-Parliamentary Union Arrives in Doha

Her Excellency Dr. Tulia Ackson, President of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, arrived in Doha today at the invitation of the Shura Council as part of efforts to strengthen bilateral relations between the Council and the Union.
Her Excellency and her accompanying delegation were welcomed at Hamad International Airport by Her Excellency Dr. Hamda bint Hassan Al-Sulaiti, Deputy Speaker of the Shura Council, and His Excellency Mr. Youssef bin Ali Al-Khater, Member of the Shura Council and Chair of the Internal and External Affairs Committee.
