The general meeting of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean (PAM) has re-elected the State of Qatar as Vice-President of PAM and a member of the PAM Bureau for (2025-2026).
HE Abdullah bin Nasser bin Turki Al Subaie, member of the Shura Council, won the confidence of the members of the PAM in the vote that took place during the 19th session of the Parliament's General Assembly, which concluded Friday in the Italian capital, Rome.
The Shura Council said, in a statement on this occasion, that his re-election to this position comes in appreciation of his remarkable efforts that contributed to strengthening the work of the Parliament and achieving its goals of establishing political, economic and social cooperation between member-states in order to find common solutions to the challenges facing the Euro-Mediterranean region and the Arabian Gulf, and creating a space for peace and prosperity for their peoples
