The Shura Council State of Qatar

The Committee on Social Affairs, Labor, and Housing of the Shura Council held a meeting today, chaired by H.E. Mr. Abdulrahman bin Youssef Al-Khulaifi, Chair of the Committee.
During the meeting, the Committee continued its study of the general discussion request concerning the situation of persons with disabilities. The meeting was attended by representatives of the National Committee for Women, Children, the Elderly, and Persons with Disabilities, headed by Sheikha Sheikha bint Jassim Al Thani, Assistant Undersecretary for Family Affairs at the Ministry of Social Development and Family and Deputy Chair of the Committee. The representatives responded to the inquiries and observations raised by the Committee members regarding the topic.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Committee decided to continue its discussions on the matter in an upcoming meeting.
