The Shura Council State of Qatar

Her Excellency Dr. Hamda bint Hassan Al-Sulaiti, Deputy Speaker of the Shura Council, extended her warmest congratulations and blessings to His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the country, "may God protect him", to His Highness the Father Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, and to His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Thani, Deputy Emir, on the occasion of the National Day of the State of Qatar, stressing that this day represents a milestone in the nation's journey, "as it embodies the meanings of loyalty and cohesion between the wise leadership and the loyal people." 
Her Excellency added in a statement on the National Day of the State of Qatar that this day is a great occasion to recall the great achievements that have been made over the past decades, under the wise leadership that has made Qatar a model to be emulated in sustainable development and prosperity.
Her Excellency stressed that the State of Qatar has achieved tremendous progress at the regional and international levels, whether in the economic, political or social fields, "as it has become a model to be emulated in stability and comprehensive development."
Her Excellency pointed out that Qatar has achieved a prestigious global position thanks to the development it has witnessed in the fields of infrastructure, education, health, and economy, as these achievements have become a source of pride for every Qatari citizen.

Her Excellency stressed the Shura Council’s keenness to support national development efforts through effective contribution to discussing legislation and policies aimed at achieving Qatar National Vision 2030, noting that the Council is constantly working to enhance communication with various state institutions to provide a legislative environment that supports comprehensive and sustainable development.
Her Excellency pointed out that the National Day is an invitation to all citizens and all those residing on the land of this generous country to enhance the spirit of belonging, popular unity and active participation in building the bright future of the State of Qatar.
Her Excellency praised the effective role played by the Qatari people in achieving the vision of the wise leadership, stressing that citizens and residents on this good land are the true wealth of the country, as they contribute diligently and sincerely to the process of construction and development. She explained that the National Day highlights the spirit of teamwork and community solidarity, which forms a solid foundation for achieving major national ambitions.
Her Excellency pointed out that celebrating National Day is not only an occasion to celebrate achievements, but also an opportunity to enhance the national identity and cultural values that distinguish Qatar as a distinguished country that combines adherence to the values derived from the Islamic religion, and looking forward to a bright future. She stressed the importance of instilling these values in the souls of future generations to ensure continued success and prosperity.

Her Excellency stressed the pioneering role of the State of Qatar on the international scene, noting that the country's achievements were not limited to the interior, but extended to include supporting stability, peace and development in various parts of the world. She said that these global achievements are the fruit of an integrated strategic vision developed by the wise leadership and implemented with all efficiency and sincerity.

Her Excellency concluded by stressing that the Shura Council will continue its efforts to support the path of development and prosperity, by enhancing cooperation with all state and community institutions and working to develop legislative frameworks that support the nation’s ambitions. She expressed her confidence that Qatar will continue to move forward towards a brighter and more prosperous future, under the leadership of His Highness the Emir, may God protect him.
