Speaker of Advisory (Shura) Council Meets First Deputy Speaker of the Iraqi Council of Representatives, Chairman of Parliamentarians Committee for Jerusalem

HE the Speaker of the Advisory (Shura) Council Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Zaid Al-Mahmoud met here today separately with HE First Deputy Speaker of the Iraqi Council of Representatives Hassan Karim al-Kaabi, and HE Chairman of the Parliamentarians Committee for Jerusalem Hamid bin Abdullah Al-Ahmar, on the sidelines of the meetings of 139th General Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU).
Discussions during the two meetings dealt with parliamentary relations between the State of Qatar and the brotherly Republic of Iraq, and the Committee of Parliamentarians for Jerusalem and ways to promote them, besides the most important topics on the agenda of the 139th meetings of the IPU.
The meetings were attended by a number of members of the Advisory (Shura) Council.
