Speaker of Advisory Council Meets President of the Inter-Parliamentary Union

HE Speaker of the Advisory Council Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Zaid al Mahmoud met on Wednesday with HE President of the Inter-Parliamentary Union Gabriela Cuevas Barron on the sidelines of the meetings of the 139th General Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU).
During the meeting, they discussed the parliamentary relations between the State of Qatar and the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), ways of supporting them, enhancing them, and discussing the most important topics on the agenda of the 139 General Assembly meetings.
The meeting was attended by HE Permanent Representative of the State of Qatar to the United Nations Office in Geneva Ambassador Ali Khalfan Al Mansouri, and a number of members of the Advisory Council.
