Shura Council Participates in Virtual Symposium on Investing in Public Health Systems

The Shura Council participated Wednesday in a symposium organized virtually by the Inter-Parliamentary Union, in collaboration with the UN's Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific and the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe on Investing in Strong Public Health and Care Systems.
The Shura Council was represented at the symposium by HE Dr. Mohammed bin Butti Al Abdullah, a council member.
During the symposium, participants discussed mechanisms for developing sustainable health policies, improving health care financing, and enhancing the ability to respond to global health challenges.
