The Shura Council State of Qatar

 The Shura Council participated, via videoconferencing, in the twelfth session of the Empowerment Series for Young Parliamentarians, organized by the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), under the title "Zero Tolerance for Violence against Women in Politics." HE Shura Council Member Amair bin Abdullah Al Nuaemi represented the council in the session.

The session addressed the key challenges facing women in political life, as participants reviewed experiences regarding violence against female parliamentarians, in addition to discussing ways to deal with such challenges.
