Shura Council Participates in 20th GCC Parliamentary Coordination Committee Meeting

The Shura Council Participated in the 20th Parliamentary Coordination Committee and Foreign Relations of the Legislative Councils of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Countries, held virtually on Thursday.
HE Member of the Shura Council Khalid bin Ganim Al Ali and HE Member of the Shura Council Nasser bin Mohammed Al Nuaimi, members of the Parliamentary Coordination Committee, represented the Shura Council at the meeting.
The meeting discussed two memoranda received from the GCC General Secretariat, the first of which related to implementing the strategy to increase the momentum of Gulf parliamentary cooperation at various levels, while the second dealt with holding a meeting between a delegation of representatives of the legislative councils in the GCC countries and a delegation from the Andean Parliament, in implementation of the decision of the heads of the Gulf legislative councils at the 18th regular meeting hosted by Abu Dhabi in November of 2023.
