Meeting of the Social Affairs, Labour and Housing Committee of the Shura Council

The Social Affairs, Labor, and Housing Committee of the Shura Council held a meeting today, chaired by His Excellency Mr. Abdulrahman bin Youssef Al-Khulaifi, Chairman of the Committee.
During the meeting, the Committee continued its review of a general discussion request regarding the conditions of persons with disabilities. The session was attended by several representatives and affiliates of specialized disability centers in the country. The Committee listened to their opinions and proposals concerning the challenges faced by individuals with disabilities and their needs to improve their quality of life and enable them to play an effective role in society.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Committee decided to continue its review of the general discussion request in an upcoming session.
