The Shura Council State of Qatar

HE Deputy Speaker of the Shura Council Dr. Hamda bint Hassan Al Sulaiti met with HE President of the Chamber of Deputies of the Italian Republic, Lorenzo Fontana, on the sidelines of the plenary session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean.

During the meeting, they discussed ways to enhance parliamentary relations between the Shura Council and the Italian Chamber of Deputies, as well as various issues of mutual interest, particularly in the field of parliamentary cooperation.

Her Excellency also held separate meetings with HE Vice-President of the Italian Senate Maria Domenica; HE the Fratelli d'Italia Group Leader Lucio Malan; HE Vice-President of the Foreign Affairs Committee Roberto Menia, and HE Head of the Italian-Qatari Parliamentary Friendship Group in the Italian Senate Salvatore Caiata.

The meetings focused on strengthening and developing parliamentary relations between the two countries.
