He was promoted to senior posts in the judiciary, reaching the position of a judge in the High Civil Court, and then moved to the Ministry of Justice. He held several important positions, including Director of the Financial and Administrative Affairs Department, then Director of the Legal Affairs Department, then Director of the Real Estate Registration Department, then Assistant Undersecretary for the Ministry of Legal Affairs.
He was appointed as a member of the Public Services and Utilities Committee, a member of the Internal and External Affairs Committee, and a member of the Qatari-Arab Parliamentary Friendship Group in the Council. He had actively participated in many internal and external missions.
